The Shotgun is a firearm that shoots multiple pellets from a single cartridge. It appeared in Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Origins, and Batman: Arkham Knight as a weapon in the hands of both inmates and law enforcement.
Incident Reports[]
Arkham Origins Incident[]
Arkham Asylum Incident[]
The Shotgun appeared in every Arkham game. It was the second most commonly used firearm in-game that was wielded by a small number of guards and a decent number of henchmen. It fired multiple pellets with each pull of the trigger, which made it a deadly weapon to encounter at short-range, but it had to be pumped after each shot.
Arkham City Incident[]
The Shotgun returned in Arkham City, retaining its stats from the previous game. It was used by both Arkham City prisoners and TYGER operatives, remaining a potent threat in close-quarters.
Arkham Knight Incident[]
The Shotgun saw use in the Gotham City occupation, being used by Arkham Knight's Militia as well as by thugs.
Trivia[]
- The shotgun used in all games is a Remington 870, with a short barrel, a pistol grip, and no stock.
